Hi everyone,
I find that I am constantly searching this mailing list for the release
notes link, for each release
(http://www.sphinx-doc.org/en/1.5/changes.html); would it be possible
to add a link of "Release Notes" on the main page of
http://www.sphinx-doc.org/ under the "Documentation" section?
If you follow the "Contents" link on the front page of the Sphinx
homepage, you will find "Changes in Sphinx" near the bottom of the
table of contents. That's just one extra click...
Though I do agree that it's somewhat confusing that the table of
contents is not on the main page. The "Documentation" section on the
main page is a little bit strange. Perhaps it should just be a single
link (Contents), since the other three links can be reached from the
Contents page?
Or, on that main page (http://www.sphinx-doc.org/) in the right panel,
in the "Download" section at the top, where it states "Current Version:
1.5.1" could you add text after "1.5.1" of "(release notes)" linked to
that release notes page?
Sure, why not. Or just link "1.5.1" to the release notes.
Best regards,
Brecht
