If I understand this right, this is exactly what I am investigating right
now. Have been able to add an override to hide the fa home icon. However,
still figuring out a way to add a custom image there.
Here's what I did for the former.
I have a theme_overrides.css with the responsive table, caption
margin/color specs, etc.
/* override icon-home */
.fa-home:before, .icon-home:before {
content : none;
}
Tried this next to replace it with a custom image, but was unsuccessful.
/* custom icon-home */
a.fa.fa-home {
background-image: url("_static/home.png") !important;
padding-left: 20px;
}
