Is there any way short of a custom Sphinx extensions that will allow :ref:'s to include a section number to the referenced section? Something like this seems very straightforward in plain latex but I haven't been able to find a way to get this to work with Sphinx(I also tried rst2pdf).
I don't see why this isn't supported, having latex/pdf output implies it would be appropriate for generating paper documentation which would(in most reasonable circles) include section numbers(or at least the page number) of the referenced item. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "sphinx-users" group.
