with the most recent openssl functions and added calls 1-6 (or 7) into
the code for debugging purposes...for my own sanity's sake. They are
harmless and can be ignored.
I don't think, or am not sure if, Sam maintains spamdyke anymore. We
need OpenSSL updates in the code, so I wrote my own patches for it.
