I have a client's emails being caught on the maillog by:

Oct 24 13:17:32 plesk3 spamdyke[25339]: DENIED_RDNS_RESOLVE from:
[email protected] to: [email protected] origin_ip: 82.146.134.53
origin_rdns: gateway.newbyfoods.com auth: (unknown) encryption: (none)

I have whitelisted the IP address which is now getting through but I did a
check on dnsstuff.com on the external domain and it says:

PASS

Reverse DNS entries for MX servers

All addresses referenced by MX records have matching reverse DNS entries.
This is good because many mail platforms and spam-prevention schemes require
consistency between MX hostnames and IP address PTR records, aka reverse
DNS.

And a check of RDNS on the IP address passes:

Domain Type Class TTL Response time Answer

53.134.146.82.in-addr.arpa. PTR IN 86400 130ms
gateway.newbyfoods.com.

Can anyone advise?

Kind Regards,

Christoph Kuhle
