I am attaching my current .procmailrc (it's not long). I would like to tweak this to help make things run both faster and smoother for me.
1) instead of just checking the subject line for messages with the SA markup from my ISP (which is redunant), I would simply like to use promail to remove their markup completely - rewriting the subject without it. I have looked at other examples, but they never seem to be quite right. if sub starts out with *****SPAM**** rewrite sub without the *****SPAM***** 2) Instead of simply moving messages with a score of 9 or higher into the ~/mail/Spam/Filtered mailbox, I would rather a) run sa-learn on that message b) dump that message into /dev/null. -- + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + Chris Barnes AOL IM: CNBarnes [EMAIL PROTECTED] Yahoo IM: chrisnbarnes Computer Systems Manager ph: 979-845-7801 Department of Physics fax: 979-845-2590 Texas A&M University begin 666 .procmailrc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` ` end ------------------------------------------------------- The SF.Net email is sponsored by EclipseCon 2004 Premiere Conference on Open Tools Development and Integration See the breadth of Eclipse activity.
