If I have a an address in the whitelist_from in local.cf, does that mean if my server receives an email from that address it will bypass all the filtering or does it add a negative score to the total? I have several .cf rules(BigEvil, etc.) and I want any email from a specific address to come in and always get through no matter the score and I didnt know if whitelist_from was enough.

whitelist_from just adds a large negative to the score total.. -100.0 by default.. even with bigevil and lots of other rules it would be very hard for it to still be positive..

If you want to really be sure, you can make the score impact of USER_IN_WHITELIST larger. Or you can save yourself some CPU time and just make a procmail rule so that such messages go arround SA instead of through it.
