I dunno about that.  I have a Yahoo account that I use for junk mail. 
Mainly, for downloading trail software where they want your email address
to mail the download link to and for certain bbs/forums.  I periodically
get spam on that account.  It doesn't happen that often, most goes into
the bulk folder, but it does happen, at least on my account.
