I've seen a number of these a few weeks ago. Mostly came in via a mail list.

Subject: [SAtalk] Empty spam?

I, as well as many others at my company here, have been getting in the past
month or two a lot of empty spam. In the body of the email is nothing at
all. Often SA will tag it with some stuff based on the headers, but many of
these are getting through because there is simply nothing on which to
trigger rules.

Have others been seeing this as well?

Does anyone have a theory on the cause?

- Borked spam program?
- Some spammer's attempt to poison bayes (not sure how this would help)?

Seems like a lot of trouble to go through to not actually sell me any pills
to enlarge body parts, or mortgages, or pictures of celebrities engaging in
intercourse.
