Hi all,
Why is it that I can do an nslookup on a particular server's A record ,
and it's MX record successfully, but Postfix can't? Note the error
below when the server from that domain connects:

Postfix/smtpd[1368]: connect from unknown[IPAddress]

And . . .

Type=A: Host found but no data record of requested type

Yet I know for a fact that this hose exists in DNS. What do you think?
What are some things I can to do troubleshoot this issue? I have tried
stopping and starting postfix, and amavisd, the postfix server can ping
the other mail server by name. I have tried reloading postfix and
amavis with the "reload" parameter. The resolv.conf file under
/var/spool/postfix/etc/ matches the /etc/resolv.conf and both match
/etc/sysconfig/networking/profiles/default/resolv.conf.

TIA,
C:\Mark
