Are you running woody? (stable). Being able to keep fairly up to date with spamassassin was the driving reason for me upgrading a system from stable to sarge (testing). On my sarge system I'm running 2.61. I've just tried to check the debian packages on the website but it's unavailable due to a security compromise last year. So, I can't really help except to assure you that I'm running 2.61 under testing, so if you're on sarge or sid, there must be something wonky with your setup. All I do is the apt-get update ; apt-get upgrade dist-upgrade thing. Dougie ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Perforce Software.
