I've killed spamd.
| install the 2.6 or 2.61 version of spamassassin the memory used by | amavisd just climbs and climbs until the system grinds almost to a | halt. Over-writing back to the old version of spamassassin cures the | problem. What's up?
dont use 2.6 .. it has memory leaks when expiring bayes entries (you'll have to check the changelog for specifics)
2.61 still causes memory use to climb until the (ppc) machine nearly grinds to a halt. Going back to 2.55 works perfectly.
