I am doing something like you described. Here is the line I use to get spamd wortking. /usr/bin/spamd -u spamd -i 0.0.0.0 -x - --virtual-config-dir="/var/spamassassin/%d/%l" -m 16 Please note I have altered the code of spamd to get my own list of IP addresses accepted. This was done so I do not need the -A option in the start of spamd. I still need to fix some stuff for the code and when I am done I will submit it to be added to spamd.
