Well, you can check up on the GTUBE method [0], check your logs, or use
my trial.....

1. Send yourself an email from an external account that isn't
whitelisted
2. Use this for the subject line: G A P P Y T E X T
3. For the body:
        Oprah!
        100% guaranteed
        CASH $$$
        THIS MESSAGE IS NOT SPAM
        AS SEEN ON TV
        !!!
4. That should be enough points to make a decent real life test

Also, more accurate help can be obtained by provided more detailed
information about your setup, i.e.
"I'm running Redhat 9, Postfix 2.0.x, SpamAssassin 2.61 called via
amavisd-new, or spamd, procmail, etc."
There are many ways to call and use SpamAssassin, by providing all
relevant info, you get better more accurate answers. ;)
