Hi, I think I found the problem. server14.asklepios.com (the host that webshield uses in the header) resolved to a public IP address, while asklepios.com (the host that imail uses in the header) resolved to a private IP address (due to Active Directory). I put server14.asklepios.com to a private address on the local DNS as well now and the results are equal now. Now the next question comes up: If the IP address of the sending eMail Client is not checked against the DNSBLs anymore, do they still effeciently work to catch spam ? Almost every legitimate asklepios.com user sends from a dialup IP (that is at least in RCVD_IN_DYNABLOCK), that's why I wanted spamassassin not to rate the sending IP.

Does the topmost Received: header (10.0.0.166) get inserted *after* SpamAssassin has checked the mail? If it does, the diference could be rather big. Without virusscan 194.25.110.113 is only seen in the topmost Received: header wich SA ignores, but with virusscan is is seen in the topmost and the one below and that one is not ignored by SA. > X-Spam-Status: No, hits=-0.7 required=5.0 > tests=BAYES_00,RCVD_IN_DYNABLOCK, > RCVD_IN_NJABL,RCVD_IN_NJABL_DIALUP,RCVD_IN_SORBS > autolearn=no version=2.61 To me this indicates that 194.25.110.113 might be listed in those lists.
