Yes this is the one I used and it was very useful but I had to dig for
some specific stuff like the site.config.m4 stuff so that libmilter is
implemented correctly. Also if you are on Solaris and want hash DB
files you need to stuff some more stuff in site.config.m4. You also
have to change the sendmail makefile so that libmilter is actually
compiled. Spamassassin requires a number of perl modules not listed
here also I found you need perl 5.8 at least and those of us on Solaris
also need to install gcc 3 and above works fine I think I also had to
install m4. All these tools (perl/m4/gcc) are normally available on our
internal network but this machine resides in our DMZ so had to do these
also.

Guess a lot of this is site/OS specific but it did take a lot of google
time.

But once sorted it works just great and the popcorn etc etc stuff was/is
fab.

Just have to convince our other 2 sites to implement it so that all our
SMTP gateways are covered which means writing a how-to (very site
specific though). We also use this as a gateway into exchange 2000.

There is already a very well documented sendmail/SA/MIMEDeFang how-to
available.
Links to it and other sendmail/procmail/postfix SA articles are
available on
www.spamfighter.org </shameless plug>

anyway, heres the sendmail/SA/MIMEDeFang how-to:
