I just downloaded it a few weeks ago (perhaps I just missed 2.61?). The tarball expanded to a directory called "Mail-SpamAssassin-2.60" and spamassassin -V returns "SpamAssassin version 2.60"

The documentation suggests that this feature is turned on by default, with a factor of 0.5 -- however, in my installation, I see absolutely no sign of an auto-whitelist file anywhere (let alone where it is supposed to be). I tried setting use_auto_whitelist to 0, to make sure it was off, but spamassassin --lint complains it can't parse that line. Can't seem to find any indication in Conf.pm that such an option still exists.

Is use_auto_whitelist an obsolete option?

Are auto whitelists currently off by default? How are they enabled/disabled? (Perhaps by whether the auto_whitelist_factor is set to 0 or not?)

I'm using SA 2.60.

Are you *SURE* you're using 2.60?

use_auto_whitelist was introduced in 2.60, but SA 2.5x and older will fail to parse it..
