I don't think Procmail is the answer to any meaningful question here.

There are various tools out there which are capable of summarizing
various types of log files. If you can just tell it what to look for,
it can create a summary for you. Then you'd run this out of a cron job
or whatever to periodically summarize recent activity.

I'm not familiar with enough of these tools to give an informed
recommendation but Analog seems to get a lot of press. See also
