Hi all,

(Firstly, I'm not on this list, I'm only using it to log a bug.
can you please reply directly to me, Thanks)

I am seeing rather bad memory leak issue running spamd on Solaris 9
(sparc).

I have Exim + Exiscan MTA, this allows parsing the messages off to SA
for scanning,
it's been running great with SA 2.42 but any more recent versions of SA,
leak.

The process will grow to 100+M in size, and timeout/die, at which point
exim will
register the timeout, and pass it off again for checking, this of course
leads
to constant loss of memory. The spamd processes never clean up.

Has anyone else seen this behaviour and know of a fix?

I'm running:
Solaris 9 - fully patched to latest etc.
exim: 4.2x - 4.30
exiscan: to suit exim versions.
SpamAssassin: 2.42 works perfectly well, but 2.55 and
              2.61 both leak like this.

Would appreciate any ideas people have on fixing this.

Cheers, Andrew
