mm, it looks as though this would be the problem:

Now, the next question, how do I go about installing Net::DNS, do I have to use CPAN?
you can do it via tarball, and most distros have a package for it, so you can use either of those options if CPAN is unappealing to you..
however, CPAN is a good way to go if you like CPAN.
