Single processor G4 w/ 750+ MB of RAM. It's ugly:

Here is the same system withe the same software running the same rule set:

http://mrtg.wavefront.ca/freya/cpu.html

I think it's simply a function of load. The first system gets the bulk of the mail
thoughput. You can see that the erratic loads
tail off over the weekend. It's wierd. I have tried disabling RBL, bayes and even
removing all my third party rules. No dice.

Is qscand your admin user that you login as? admin is that user for me. OS X uses a
/Users/ set-up as opposed to the normal *nix
/home/ structure.

I chmod 775ed this directory and the errors when away.

Here is my local.cf minus the white lists:

required_hits 5
skip_rbl_checks 0
use_bayes 1
bayes_file_mode 0700
bayes_path /var/spool/bayes/bayes

Perhaps I am missing some things here?

Dan
