I have a false positive that I want to retrain but SA has rewritten the body. I turned everything off that I could see that would tell SA to re-write the body but it still does. I read that SA will still re-learn spam that it has altered to headers but will it do it for the body? It does look like it does since I retrain the FPs as ham and they still are FPs.
sa-learn will correctly learn from messages that SA itself has rewritten.
You do NOT need to remove the SA markup from the message before feeding it to sa-learn.
The only time you need to worry is if you've done something *else* to the message or it's headers, like forwarded it, run it through a mimedefanger, added a "scanned for viruses by" note to it.
