Hello all -
I've scoured the mailing list, done the requisite Google search, read the docs, but can't seem to find any info on how to get my SA auto_whitelist updated to the latest DB version. SA isn't doing it automatically the first time it sees the old version either. I've successfully used sa-learn --import to update the bayes db files. I don't really wish to lose many months of auto_whitelisting data.
I'm using spamd and here's some debug info that shows spamd's attempt to open up the auto_whitelist:
Nov 25 23:45:21 myserver spamd[10173]: debug: lock: 10173 created /etc/mail/spamassassin/auto_whitelist.lock.myserver.mydomain.com.10173 Nov 25 23:45:21 myserver spamd[10173]: debug: lock: 10173 trying to get lock on /etc/mail/spamassassin/auto_whitelist with 0 retries Nov 25 23:45:21 myserver spamd[10173]: debug: lock: 10173 link to /etc/mail/spamassassin/auto_whitelist.lock: link ok Nov 25 23:45:21 myserver spamd[10173]: debug: Tie-ing to DB file R/W in /etc/mail/spamassassin/auto_whitelist Nov 25 23:45:21 myserver spamd[10173]: debug: unlock: 10173 unlink /etc/mail/spamassassin/auto_whitelist.lock Nov 25 23:45:21 myserver spamd[10173]: debug: open of AWL file failed: Cannot open auto_whitelist_path /etc/mail/spamassassin/auto_whitelist:
While I have the stage, I'd like to ask a related question: how do you prune your auto_whitelist file? After about 6 months, we have an auto_whitelist file that has grown to over 120MB!
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
_Khalid
