Alexander, The integration is currently a manual process. I could envision an eval rule in the future but definately not now!. The easiest way to plug this into your mail system is to build a few source rules file somewhere and then pass them through this script, piping the output to your spamassassin config directory. Make a simple shell script named 'update_obfu_rules' (or something) that executes the commands on each source file. I currently recommend at least two source rules files. One should be obvious spam-phrases (like smut spam phrases) and another should be regularly obfuscated everyday phrases (like 'click here'). In your 'update_obfu_rules', you could specify different options for each file, such as -o (match obfu only) for the everyday phrases file. Whenever you update your word lists (source rules files), simply re-run the update_obfu_rules script, then restart spamd. I personally use a single-word-to-source-rule generator script that you may have, if you're interested (AS SEEN ON TV... er, I mean, as seen on the CGI page at http://sandgnat.com/cmos/cmos.jsp when using 'simple mode'). -- Chris Thielen Easily generate SpamAssassin rules to catch obfuscated spam phrases: http://www.sandgnat.com/cmos/ ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by OSDN's Audience Survey.
