There's right much documentation on the DCC web site:
http://www.rhyolite.com/anti-spam/dcc/ - installation link just a bit down the page.
Basically, you need to install the client program - dccproc. Instructions on the site - ./configure; make install.
I installed as a single user on my shared isp account, and used the ./configure option parameters supplied in the documentation example.
There's also a daemon, dccifd that, as far as I can tell, acts as a proxy server to DCC database connections - improves performance that way. I did not install that.
