When I run spamassassin in kmail, I scoop uncaught mail into a folder "zsa-learn-spam then when I run sa-learn, I use this command: $ sa-learn --spam --showdots ~/Mail/zsa-learn-spam/cur/
It then processes all the messages in that directory, ignoring the ones that have been previously processed and learning from the rest.
I have not used the --mbox argument
Should I be using a different set of arguments?
I don't know.. depends on how kmail stores mail.
does kmail use many-messages-per-file style data (ie: mbox)?.. if so, yes, you need the --mbox argument.
if kmail uses a directory full of files, each file representing one message, then no you do not need the --mbox argument.
