I am using the '-A' to tell which IP addresses to listen to. -m max-children -V virtual-config directory -p port
ahh, I was confused by your abuse of the word "listen"...
-A doesn't change the behavior of calls to listen()..
Well it may not be that bad, but i know that it is over 50 non-contiguous IP addresses. That still is longer then I want for a command line. If one of the IP addresses changes then I will have to edit the command line and hope I get the line right again.
Well, it's also not local addresses.. ie: you don't have a server with 50-200 IP addresses assigned to the server itself. You have 50-200 non-local addresses that you want spamd to accept connections from.
Really, IMO, this extensive of a list is probably better done at the firewall level, and not done by spamd itself. It's also a lot more secure.
