I sort of agree :) Your point is that not everyone has the ability or time
to work on antispam system. But without personalization, antispam will never
function optimally. Opensource requires the user to be diligent. Maybe that
is its biggest hurdle. 

I guess it is like cutting your own lawn. You can pay someone to cut the
grass, to free up your time. But if you want it to be free, you have to do
the work :)

Soon it should be a little easier to update SA. Efforts in place by some
incredible people to do this.
