Here is an example where I tested it manually. Note that I put "random" in for the helo information. Postfix would reject this if the above mentioned option were on. How does the FORGED_RCVD_HELO work or is there another test that might help here?
I suspect the reason that FORGED_RCVD_HELO is set to 0 is that it is currently _broken_.
The statistics seem to reflect it not working very well too, which also leads me to suspect it is currently broken.
STATISTICS.txt: OVERALL% SPAM% HAM% S/O RANK SCORE NAME
STATISTICS.txt: 26.931 29.1539 22.7663 0.562 0.21 0.00 FORGED_RCVD_HELO
Note that means it matched 26% of all mail, 29% of spam and 22% of nonspam.. Of all the mail it matched, 56% was spam, thus 44% of the matched mail was nonspam.. ick.
