hi there spamhaters :)
i just have quick note for spamd startup scripts. All scripts
for latest 2.60 (dunno about < 2.60) have exit 0 at the end of
script. This can produce some confusion if script is started
from another script, ie. it' will stop execution of all scripts
below the SA script. 

Imagine this situation:

........

if [ -x /some/bin/file1 ]; then
  /script/do1 start
fi

# from slackware /etc/rc.d type of startup scripts :)
if [ -x /sa/spamd ]; then
  /etc/rc.d/rc.spamassasin start 
fi

if [ -x /some/bin/file2 ]; then
  /script/do2 start
fi

........
