spamd stopped reading /etc/mail/spamassassin/local.cf this morning after its automatic reset. I rebuilt and otherwise fiddled around, to no avail. I discovered that it read /usr/local/share/spamassassin/10_misc.cf, so I put my settings there. We had used it for a month without a problem, just as described in the
docs. No one else would fool with it and I didn't. spamassassin itself
continued to work as described.
