VERP stands for "variable envelope return path". The special address is used in the envelope FROM address (the return path), not in the "From:" header. Since the pool.com bounces seem to be incorrectly going to the "From:" address rather than the envelope address, I don't think VERP would help in this situation. Putting such things in the "From:" header in place of the actual author's name and address would make it more difficult to sort through a folder of SATalk messages, since the author is often useful in determining whether a message is worth reading. -- Keith C.
