I am trying to build a new spamassassin box and I am running into a problem
that whenever I send a test message perl core dumps.

I am using FreeBSD 4.9, with sendmail and spamass-milter.

I run through the steps outlined in the activation.txt file of the
spamass-milter port and when I run the following command, perl hits 96% of
the CPU and stays there for about 10 or 15 minutes and eventually cores.

/usr/sbin/sendmail root <
/usr/local/share/doc/p5-Mail-SpamAssassin/sample-spam.txt

I am a complete Perl n00b. I do not know how to troubleshoot or fix the
problem.

Any help is appreciated.
