Further I created accounts for all these "spamboxes". As a result every
user has two mailboxes: his "normal" mailbox, e. g. peter and a second,
the"spambox", e. g. peter_spam. Now a user may (if he misses a mail) or may not look at his spambox to
control whether Spamassassin is working correctly.

So how does the end user look at his 'other' mailbox? Have you offered a webmail based interface that uses this alternate inbox, or is it imap?

The user can access his spambox by pop3, like his "normal" mailbox. There
are two pop accounts per user: the "normal" and the spam account.

I suspected as much, I considered this option, but figured I would go with a webmail system, (its in place anyway). The thought of supporting people with two mailboxes made me shudder..... damn, I really think I must have a higher ratio of moron users than anyone else here.....<g>
