You've just described how spamassassin works. So I'm pretty certain the you don't want to sit at a command line, saving your mails to text files, and checking them one-by-one. What is it that you would LIKE to do, really? Chances are someone's already doing it. Do you have a non-*n?x enterprise mail server that you want to check incoming mail for? Do you simply have a single mailbox that you would like to use spamassassin on?
