What are you trying to say? Is this the output of ls -l on your system? The "l" in "lrwxrwxrwx" indicates that what you have is indeed a symbolic link. Also try dpkg -S /etc/mail/spamassassin As a general comment, if a Debian package installed something which isn't a conffile, you shouldn't mess with it, because that may prevent you from upgrading or even removing the package.
