It isn't cut off and is intentional--spamc runs as user "nospam".  From
man spamd for the -H option:
 By specifying no argument, spamd will use the
           spamc caller's home directory instead.

Hmmm, just found a problem--user "nospam" had the wrong home directory
path...let's see...
just fixed that. When I restart spamd it runs but complains "Can't get
working directory!"

Let me check this out. Don't know if it'll fix the subject problem
but...
