>would be nice if it were a standard across all MTA's... something like >X-Envelope-Helo: >X-Envelope-Mail-From: >X-Envelope-Rcpt-To: Yes, it would ;) BTW, HELO and RCPT TO are often reproduced in the Received headers. However, MAIL FROM is not always; this is a problem. Some MTAs are good about it though, adding e.g. "(envelope-from <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>)" to the Received headers. It now seems that this is the best way to do this, as it preserves the data across relays. I'm going to draw up a proposal at some stage for recommendations on what MTA authors, and/or MTA plugins calling SpamAssassin, should try to do in this regard so that SpamAssassin can use that data... - --j. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.2 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Exmh CVS iD8DBQE/oEyyQTcbUG5Y7woRAn0hAJwIJoLX9JVH1qkzOcCb/F82Iq49HgCgs+ae B/PIO0rr1nbCFVOsIi5WayU= =tJN6 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: SF.net Giveback Program.
