What method did you use to install SA?

Well, I tried to just download and make, but also used MCPAN.


install Mail::spamassassin

I created the /usr/share/spamassassin directory and now 'spamassassin --lint' runs without errors, but it sounds like from your above that I must not have something right. Damn. I did however, find that /share/spamassassin has approx 29 files in it... Could that be some sort of a difference in Panther?

My last attempt was to download spamassassin, and issue the following:

perl Makefile.pl
make
make install

No errors are generated.....

OK, back to the drawing board.
