Hello!

My apologies if this question is answered in the archives, but I could not
search on the exact phrase, and so I got a large collection of articles
with any of the words 'subject' or 'check', etc.....

The story: I noticed that spamassassin was not performing one of my
favourties checks: The use of the name part of the mail address on the
subject line. So I wanted to build a rule. But I needed to find the form
of coding that would let me manipulate the To address. In the process of
checking the config files for examples, I ran across the rule named:
check_for_to_in_subject - rather obviously it's not working for all the
messages. I also note that I've had a few other local rule Subject line
tests that seem to not be working. Specifically checks for those damnable
'ISO-####' encoded (printable?) subject lines. So here are the questions:

1) Is there a known issue with Subject line checking?
2) How can I modify the 'eval' condition named above? Where is the source
or config in local spamassassin files?
3) Where might there be a manual referncing the creation of evals? From
this I might learn if there is a pre-coded token for the address that I
can easily use.....

I'm running spamd 2.44 from /etc/procmailrc under RH Linux 9.

Thanks!
