This seems to be a bug in InterMail, I noted a while back on the Sylpheed Claws list that if the MIME boundary string contains a : character, the first instance of this in the header is changed to : <space>. End result, blank mail, because the MIME boundaries in the body don't match the boundary definition in the header any more.
