Does anyone have experience in a Microsoft Exchange Environment? SpamAssassin is doing what I expect it to, but.... :)
(there's always a but)... I was particularly looking at the possibility of joining SpamAssassin with an "onArrival" Event Sink on the SMTP Interface for the Exchange server (kind of like an Outlook Rule, but at the SMTP interface on the Exchange Server), thereby making the SMTP interface on the Exchange Server SpamAssassin-Enabled without the need to Proxy from another SMTP source before hitting Exchange. I am working on the underlying code to register the sink and set it all up, but wanted to ask in case anyone had ideas or could tell me that something was already in existance. The code I am working with is very similar to the Outlook rule code that is here (but using Win32::OLE in perl): http://www.openhandhome.com/howtosa260.html#partxvii Thanks for any input. Thanks for making SpamAssassin!
