The SpamAssassin default has always been 5, its never been 7 to my knowledge. The GA also optimizes scores based on a threshold of 5.


Having said that *our* sitewide default is 7 because even with 2.55 I notice too many false positives with 5. (Not on the kind of mail that *I* receive, but many of our customers....)
