Just a little word of warning.... From their web page:
"MessageLabs does not recommend that people use this list for blocking email as it is highly likely to list ISP smarthosts due to viruses that route in that way."
So don't use it as an RBL in, for example, a sendmail.cf.
But I would very much like to hear how well it performs and what might be a useful score value for it.

Hi,
I'm currently testing the following:
# Add checks of MessageLabs Virus Blacklist
header RCVD_IN_VBL eval:check_rbl('vbl', 'vbl.messagelabs.com.')
describe RCVD_IN_VBL VBL: sender is listed in VBL - see http://vbl.messagelabs.com
tflags RCVD_IN_VBL net
score RCVD_IN_VBL 0 0.500 0 0.500
I stole the code from the RCVD_IN_SORBS test, filed off the serial numbers, and put it in local.cf. It's been a while since I built a custom RBL test; review and comment is appreciated.
No idea about the effectiveness of the VBL (hence the low scores); it should be interesting to see how this behaves.
