Hey Jim - I've seen other lists reporting, depends on the clients source IP
address...

The fact that that list is broken is probably why I noticed the problem, but
I think this has been happening with other lists too.

When my own mail clients send from their homes / offices, my mail server
records the received header.

Does the RBL check react to the last received header or all received
headers?

Regardless, in this case there is only one received header, which makes the
message look the same as if it had been sent by a remote spam server -
correct? So when their home IP's get into the RBL lists, they get filtered
from their own mail server.

I was thinking I could work around this by somehow detecting the valid AUTH
mail header or something else unique to white list the message...

Or am I misunderstanding something?

In the meantime I will change the rule as you suggested.

Thanks.

You need to turn off the Osirusoft checks. Look in the archives for this
list over the last couple weeks to see why and how.
