I don't think we need to go down this path...  At the moment, copyright
of the individual code bits hasn't been assigned anywhere officially.  ie:
code is copyright each developer, unless they've signed their rights away
to employer, etc.  but the code still has to meet the PAL/GPL licensing,
so as long as they're authorized to release code under those licenses,
no problems.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I had my employer sign away all rights
to open source software I work on, so my code, at least, is owned by
me. :)
