None of the messages were very large.

Scott Lambert suggested that this was a memory issue, and so far he
has been correct.  My little server has very little RAM and I'm
running a lot of services on it.  I used -m and tweaked a few other
things and the random messages slipping through has stopped.

It appears that when spamc/spamd are low on memory, they run home to
mama (just skip the analysis).  -m helps a lot, at least so far.
