I just created /usr/lib/courier-imap/etc/maildirshared and put
SpamSetting /home/vpopmail/shared
in it.

Hi folks
the spammassassin FAQ suggests creating public folders on an imap server for moving missed spam and false spam into so that the bayesian stuff can learn. Could someone point me to some documentation or give me a pointer on how to create these please.
Cheers Nigel
Hi Nigel, You didn't say how many users you have, if not many(like me) this is the way I did it. create mail folders sa-spam, sa-ham from your favorite IMAP client. ssh in and mv those folders to /home/users be sure the the folders are R/W by group users In each users directory ln -s /home/users/sa-spam ln -s /home/users/sa-ham
Have each user subscribe to the new linked folders.
There may be an easier way, but this worked great for me.
