3 I don't see any evidence that RBL checks are being made in my spam
headers. How can I make sure the RBL checks are being done?

enable them in local.cf:

dns_available            yes
skip_rbl_checks            0
use_dcc                1
use_pyzor            1
use_razor1            1
use_razor2            1
dont forget to set environment:

RES_NAMESERVERS=xx.xx.xx.xx (your DNS)
