I am getting the following error from the spamd daemon when running from exiscan
Creating default_prefs [//.spamassassin/user_prefs] Cannot write to //.spamassassin/user_prefs: No such file or directory
Where can I change the location that spamassassin is looking at.
By default SA tries to create the user prefs in the home directory of the user that calls it.. (~/.spamassassin/)
It's a bit strange that your exiscan user has a home directory of /. I'd probably suggest setting that users's account up a bit more correctly, if for no other reason than it's probably a bit dangerous to have a user whose home is /. Even nobody usually has a home directory albeit something like /var/nowhere. Edit your passwd files by whatever method is appropriate for your system to give that user a path to a home directory.
